First of all, I'm going to make it clear that he'll be a lot higher on the list once he rids his chin of that horrid facial hair. I think Raffi Torres is slightly crazy, and judging by my dating record I apparently find insanity quite charming. He's very intense and he makes big hits. He's also an inconsistent scorer. Hot! We lost Janne Niinimaa for Torres, and he arrived here with that hot piece of ass, Brad Isbister. Back to the list.

Anze Kopitar is the only Slovenian in the NHL. And he has a great name. A black mark against him for playing for L.A, but that can be forgiven. I've never heard him speak, but I'm sure his accent is as sexy as his physique. I've decided that it's impossible to go wrong with Slovenian hockey players... And more hot men!

#18 - Michael Morrison

I met Mike Morrison about thirty seconds before I met Igor Ulanov. Morrison was very polite and he really liked my t-shirt. He was selected by Edmonton in the 7th round in the 1998 draft (186th overall). You might remember him from the Edmonton Oilers 2005-2006 season as one of the three rotating goalies (before Edmonton's goalie woes were solved by the arrival of Roli). He was the shootout specialist, as much as he, Conklin or Markkanen could have been referred to as "specialists." He was eventually picked up by Ottawa off of waivers (it was a dark day), and he played a few games for them. Phoenix picked him up as a free agent this season and, after experiencing a few losses with him on net, sent him to their AHL affiliate in San Antonio. He is currently playing for Phoenix in the ECHL. No, I don't claim that he's NHL material. But he's damn sexy. First of all, Mike Morrison is quite lanky. He's 6'3 and weighs in at 194 pounds. He also sounds like Mayor Quimby from The Simpsons. And goalies are ridiculously sexy. Back to the list.

#13 - Anson Carter

That hair is awesome. Anson Carter appeared on the NHL scene in the 1996-97 season, where he played with Washington and Boston. After several seasons with the Bruins, he ended up in Edmonton where heplayed from 2000-2003. That is naturally when I first caught a glimpse of the hair. There is nothing sexier than hair sticking out from under the hockey helmet. Carter started some sort of hip hop record label during the lockout. I'm not a fan of hip hop, but that entrepreneurial spirit is delicious. I want to touch that hair every day for the rest of my life. To the list.

#4 - Ryan Miller

Ryan Miller is a goalie for the Buffalo Sabres, one of the deadliest NHL teams this season. He is ridiculously lanky. At 6'3, he's the same height as the robust Mr. Ulanov, but he weights 60 pounds less. Miller tips the scale at 160. What else makes Ryan Miller sexy? Well, he's an excellent goaltender and he gets me points for my fantasy team. He sort of has one eye that's higher than the other, which is adorable. Back to that crazy list!

#7 - Daniel Tjarnqvist

Daniel Tjarnqvist, who has been dubbed "Newlanov" in my circle of friends, is the most attractive current Oiler. He is a defenseman, and Edmonton signed him as a free agent for this season. Tjarnqvist is the token hottie on one of my fantasy teams. When at the games, I have an annoying habit pointing out how the ice "just got sexier" everytime he comes out to play for a shift. He is sexy because he has an adorable face and great hair when he hasn't cut it in a while (which he did not too long ago, unfortunately). There's nothing hotter than the hair sticking out of the helmet everywhere. Tjarnqvist has played for Atlanta, Minnesota and Edmonton over his NHL career. He is currently in his fifth NHL season and is on the IR with an inflamed pubic bone. Even his injuries sound sexy. To the list.

Igor Ulanov is currently playing hockey in Yaroslavl, Russia after playing fourteen seasons in the NHL. I first discovered that he was extremely sexy when he last played for the Oilers. His sex appeal rests in the fact that he is the total package: Rugged, Eastern European and he seems to be a very classy individual. During his Oilers days, he was known for stopping the puck with his face (and it shows...grr!) and scoring two goals in one game in the 05-06 season. Never a stellar d-man in terms of skill, it's the heart that he put into the Oilers on and off the ice that makes him a complete hottie. I met him once, and I temporarily lost my ability to speak. I don't see why you would want to go back to the list after gazing upon this mug, but as you wish...
